Greetings.Unless you've living under a rock for the past week, then you've been utterly bombarded with images of Michael Jackson in almost every facet of entertainment from television to radio and everywhere in between. Since the acclaimed "King of Pop" died last Thursday, there have been valiant efforts put forth to celebrate the life and legacy of this beloved icon. If you watched the BET Award show this week, you are well aware of Michael's impact and influence in the music industry today. Although I was perhaps too young to fully experience the musical ingenious of Michael Jackson in his younger days, I am yet amazed at how timeless his music has become even prior to his passing.
Before his death, Michael was troubled by many issues in his personal life, often making mainstream news whenever there were legal or family-related hardships. Accused of sexual abuse in 1993, Mike became a target for the media and endured scrutiny from almost every direction. Whether those allegations were true or not I believe, in death, all is forgiven. Few people actually know the truth but one thing I can be sure of is this, you can never even begin to imagine the struggles and hardships of another individual. We all are misunderstood at times and do not always have the means to bring enlightenment to others. Michael was a musical deity and a legendary performer and mass media in contemporary society loves to tear down those who we view as great. Immeasurable success brought him to the forefront of headlines worldwide and he will always be known as a philanthropist and humanitarian who believed in peace between individuals of separate cultures.
With that squared away, I was browsing through different blogs looking at all of the Michael Jackson custom sneakers and I was surprised at how few of them were actually good. So in commemoration of the icon, my team and I decided to customize a pair of Air Force 1 low tops to celebrate his legacy. As of now, me and J-Row have been working at them for a few hours and they look to be very promising. The layout of the shoe will be in a collage format, similar to the famous Joker Customs Row released earlier this year. We'll be finished in no time so look out for the pics and articles on pimpmykicks.com and other sneakerhead blogs.

In the meantime, check out the Joker customs at PIMPMYKICKS.COM under the links column. They have their own youtube video as well. You can check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3eEHyYXDL4. If you want your very own pair of custom shoes, you can inquire about them through the site or contact me directly. You can even use the application on the site to help you design a color sceme to your custom pair. Anyways, thats all for now come back soon and check out one of the hottest MJ customs on the net. PeaceOut
